Calc² collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you type into the calculator ever leaves your device.
What Calc² stores, and where
Everything Calc² remembers is stored locally on your device, in the app's own private storage, and is removed when you uninstall the app:
- your calculation history;
- your settings (theme, haptics, percent behaviour, dense mode);
- your last-used converter category and units;
- a cached copy of the exchange-rate table described below.
None of it is transmitted anywhere, backed up to us, or shared with anyone. We have no server, and there is nothing for us to see. You can erase the history at any time from inside the app.
The one network request Calc² makes
Calc²'s unit converter includes currencies. To convert them it needs exchange rates, and it gets them from the European Central Bank's public daily reference feed:

When you open Calc², if the rates it already has are out of date, it downloads that file over an encrypted connection. The request is an ordinary anonymous download of a public file. Calc² sends no identifier, no account, no device information and none of your calculations with it. The rates are cached on your device so the converter keeps working offline.
The European Central Bank operates that server, not us, and its own privacy statement applies to the request in the same way it would if you opened the link in a browser. If you never open Calc², the request never happens.
Children
Calc² is a calculator. It collects nothing from anyone, including children, and contains no ads, no purchases and no links out to other content.
Your rights
Data-protection law (GDPR and comparable regimes) gives you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request, export or delete. Deleting the app removes everything Calc² ever stored.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. If a future version of Calc² were to collect anything at all, that change would be described here before it ships.
