Calc² is a paid app you buy once. No accounts, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads and no tracking. These terms describe what you are buying and what you can expect from it.
Your licence
Buying Calc² gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on the devices your store account allows, for as long as you keep it. You do not own the software itself; you own the right to use it. You may not resell it, rent it out, or redistribute it as your own.
The app store you bought it from is the seller, and its own terms apply to the purchase alongside these. On the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless it is replaced by this page; nothing here is meant to take away a right that agreement or your local law gives you.
What the app does, and what it does not promise
Calc² is a calculator. It computes what you type, and it is built to compute it correctly. It is not certified for any regulated purpose, and it is not a substitute for professional judgement in accounting, engineering, medicine or law. Check anything that matters.
Currency conversion uses the European Central Bank's public daily reference rates. Those are reference rates published once per working day, not dealing rates: a bank or a card will always differ a little, sometimes more than a little. We do not produce them, we cannot correct them, and we do not guarantee they are current when you look.
Availability
Calc² works offline. The one thing that needs a connection is refreshing exchange rates, and if that fails the app keeps using the last table it downloaded. We do not run a server for the app, so there is no service to go down, and equally no service we can promise to keep up.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it, including losses from a calculation you did not check. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version appears here with a new date at the top. Changes apply from the day they are published and are not retroactive.
